Time to find a home health care provider after hospital discharge
Posted by: GloriaTempas on 4/15/2011 12:48:00 PM
Someone close to me is being discharged from the hospital after minor surgery. He is now in a wheelchair full-time so he'll need some assistance when recovering from surgery.
I don't want to put him into a nursing home so I'm looking for a home health care provider that can visit him daily and help with his medications and bandages, along with some daily tasks.
Does anyone have any experience with recovering from minor surgery at home, and/or how you found providers that could handle your situation.
