What is a confirmed listing?
Online directory search results are often several pages long and users may not view beyond the first two pages of results before choosing a care provider. A confirmed listing gives our users a way to increase the chance that they will be contacting a care provider that has been personally verified to have correct and up-to-date information displayed on their profile.
A confirmed listing replaces a care provider's basic listing in the search results. Confirmed listings are always displayed before non-confirmed listings in the care provider search results. confirmed listings follow the same sorting rules of the rest of the listings. For example, if the search results are sorting by distance, all of the confirmed listings will first display from nearest to farthest and then the non-confirmed listings will display from nearest to farthest.

How is the data for the MySeniorCare care provider Directory compiled? Is it reliable?
The MySeniorCare care provider Directory is compiled in a variety of ways. The data on each care provider that MySeniorCare presents is confirmed with each care provider's office twice a year. While addresses and phone numbers and specialties tend to stay the same, some business information can change quickly. For example, a care provider may join or leave the business or the business may start accepting a new health insurance. In general, the data in this directory is generally reliable but to be 100% sure, always contact the care provider directly.

How do I find a map and directions to a care provider's place of business?
Locate the care provider in the directory by entering the proper information on the directory home page and selecting Search button. Once you have located the care provider's listing in the Results page, choose the View Profile link to open the Profile page. You will find the map at the top right of the Profile page. Click on the red icon designating the address and select Get Directions.

How do I find a care provider?
A search for a care provider always starts on the directory's home page at www.MySeniorCare.com/Directory
A search has two simple steps:
Step 1: Select the type of senior care you are looking for. Home care provides medical and non-medical care in one's place of residence. Senior housing provides care for a senior out of the home, in verious types of facilities.
Step 2: Enter the zip code you are looking for service in. If you are looking for care for a loved one, enter the zip code they live in, to ensure the care providers shown will service your desired location. MySeniorCare will search within a 25 mile radius for your care provider (you can expand this radius using 'Advanced Search Options' discussed below).
Step 3: Click the Search button.
Step 4: Select the specific types of care services you desire, MySeniorCare selects all types of care by default, you can deselect certain types of service by unchecking the checkboxes.
You will then arrive at the 'Results' page with all the care providers that match your search criteria. The results will automatically sort by Best Match. To view results sorted in other methods such as Distance or Alphabetically you may choose so from the drop down menu on the right. You can page through the results using the Previous and Next links in the top or bottom blue bar.
To learn more about a care provider in the list, click the business name or click the 'View Profile' link in their listing. This will take you to their Company Profile, which contains a variety of information about the care provider including address and phone, care services provided, insurance & payment information, customer reviews & more.

How do I narrow my search to care providers that accept my health insurance?
On the home page of the directory, after you have entered a region to search in Step 1 and the care provider's last name or their specialty in Step 2, click the 'Advanced Search Options' link. Here you will find additional options to refine your search including limiting your care provider search to those who accept your health insurance.

What if I cannot find a specific care provider in your directory? Is there a way to add them?
If you are having trouble finding a specific care provider, try performing a search in some of the neighboring areas.
If for some reason a specific care provider still cannot be found, please send us an email at CareDirectory@MySeniorCare.com. Include the care provider's name and business phone number if possible, and a member of the MySeniorCare customer service team will follow-up with his or her business directly.
